The commutator slotting machine can handle commutator type with slotted type and hook type commutator with OD range from 5mm to 130mm,
For slotted type commutator without riser, automated system is suitable,
For hook type commutator, slotting process is before bend the hook end,
Proper undercutting of the Mica insulation:
The less Mica undercutting there is, the harder the brush type that you have to use. Harder brushes do not last anywhere near as long as a softer brush in the same system.
For slotted type commutator with riser,
a cusom made robot hand is recommened for safety, and it's time cost to change robot hand when you shift to other types and the commutators might get damage when unloading,

During the commutator slotting process, splashed copper chips are mixed in the air around the controller. These chips of copper cut the circuit board and components of the controller at all times and cause a short circuit between the wires! If an abnormal situation occurs during work, immediately stop working and switch off the power quickly. Then use 4-6kg / cm pressure of dry compressed air blow off the control board and the drive board copper cutting powder, make sure the circuit board and components without copper cutting powder, and then restart the work.
